Will Smith and Tupac

Ironically enough Tupac who was infamous for being the front runner in the East Coast West Coast Hip Hop War was actually from New York.  While growing up in New York Tupac attended an art school Where he met a young Jada Pinkett. The two would stay closely connected for their entire rise to fame until his untimely death. Because of this relationship Will Smith and Tupac became friends.  Never to take away from Jada’s Talents but it was Tupac who gave her one of her first big breaks in the Music Video from his hit song “Keep ya head up” from his second album.   

Secondly, this picture puts Tupac as the first rapper to wear the “Star Ring Curse.”  As years would pass other young rappers would join him in the group as being killed after wearing the famously cursed “Star Ring”
