At this time Snoop was just acquitted from a murder trial.  He was accused of shooting a rival gang member along with his bodyguard. He performs his version of his side of the story just a few songs earlier with his hit song “Murder was the case.”  Biggie and Tupac were the faces of the East coast and West coast beef in Hip Hop. However Snoop was credited for pouring gasoline and igniting the already lit flame on the infamous rap war After the 1995 Source Awards Tirade.  Tupac though claimed his innocence until his death and was just released from prison after being shot and accused of being in the same room where a sexual assault occurred.  The women who pressed charges admitted to having consensual relations with Tupac.  After Tupac left however she claimed others at the party assaulted her.  Tupac’s biggest involvement in the charge and the lawsuit was to cover the damages the lady seeked.  After running out of money on lawyers and court fees; Suge Knight the Owner of Death Row Records made a deal with Tupac. “Make me three records for Death Row and I’ll bail you out of jail.  Then you can walk from the label after I get my three records.” Suge Knight at the time was notorious for being gang related. He was charged for Beating up Eazy E with three other guys to get Dre out of Ruthless records.  Eazy E’s record label.  Having no money or options Tupac took the deal. Knowing Suges reputation rumor has it this is why Tupac made “All Eyez on Me” his first cd release with Death Row a double CD. So he could make two records in one try and get out of Death Row as quick as possible. Makavelli being his third Death Row Release. He would never see the day. He Would die on Death Row. Tupac was literally “Out on bail.  Fresh out of jail.  California dreaming.” House of Blues in California performance.  At the time, Pac and Snoop actually were; two of America’s Most Wanted.
