So he put it in his coffee before going sober and becoming a “tea peddler”.   SRV would die in a helicopter crash 7 years later from this night while leaving a show he just played with Clapton and other great guitar players.  On this particular night. A skinny sweaty 28 year old unknown Stevie Ray Vaughan. Without a penny in his pocket would put on with his band double trouble. Arguably the greatest guitar player performance ever!  He plays the guitar Right! He plays it wrong! He plays it behind his head, behind his back! With his teeth!  He plays songs faster than their are supposed to be played! He plays it perfect!  The Best! SRV FOREVER!!!
